Banneker got involved in this project after the owner was experiencing financing issues with the building. Banneker led the Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act (TOPA) process and will be preserving all of the affordable units in the building which will feature one-bedroom, two-bedroom and 3-bedroom units. This $4MM project is being financed by a mixed of bank loans and subsidies from D.C. Housing Finance Agency.
