Euclid Street Project

The Residences at Euclid Street

Banneker is developing this five-story, 34-Unit apartment building located four blocks from Howard University's campus in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of Washington, D.C.

With the intention of preserving naturally affordable housing in one of the Districts most gentrified neighborhoods, Banneker is redeveloping The Residences at Euclid.  Enhancements to the building include renovating resident units, common areas and the exterior, while maintaining affordability for residents.

The project will undergo interior and exterior renovation, adding one unit as well as additional amenities including laundry facilities throughout the building and a reading room for resident use. Construction will be completed over the course of two phases - the first of which - included critical repairs and exterior updates has already been completed. The second phase which includes the renovation of the interior units and common areas is scheduled to commence July 2020.

The Residences at Euclid will be a vibrant residential community for current and prospective residents. The building will feature a mix of one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom units as well as various amenity spaces.  The project is a short distance away from DC USA, a retail center in the Columbia Heights neighborhood, and the retail stores surrounding 14th & U Street NW.  The property is a short seven blocks from Columbia Heights Metro Station.
