Project Overview

Banneker served as the prime contractor on this elevator modernization project. This project consists of the modernization of six (6) traction freight and one (1) passenger traction elevator to include elevator machines, controllers, governors, hoist way cables and equipment, traveling cables, cab enclosures, cab finishes, cab doors, cab lighting, cab floor finishes, car operating panels, hall fixtures and lanterns, elevator pit access working platforms, refinish selected hoist way doors and frames, new selected hoist way doors and recladding of selected hoist way frames, shaft lighting and miscellaneous electrical wiring.
