As Controller, Somayeh oversees financial operations, develops budgets, implements internal controls, and ensures regulatory compliance. She has a proven track record of streamlining processes, reducing costs, and improving financial reporting accuracy. Her previous roles at Banneker Ventures involved managing financial statements, annual budgets, cash flow, and account reconciliations, as well as directing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and monthly job cost reports for projects. Before joining Banneker Ventures, Somayeh served as Senior Accounting Manager/Treasurer at Certified Maintenance Company, Inc., where she administered and analyzed financial data, managed project accounting, and oversaw payroll processing. She also worked as a Project Manager & Estimator, handling construction projects from start to completion. Somayeh holds a PMP Certification and is proficient in various accounting and project management software. She is a member of the Construction Financial Management Association and the CPA Academy Organization.
