As General Counsel, Ameenah is responsible for leading corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives and provides senior management with effective advice on Company strategies.  She further manages the legal functions of the Company while managing the work of all outside counsel. As Banneker’s Business Development manager, Ameenah is responsible for proactively seeking business and coordinating the entire proposal and bid process for Banneker to include drafting the technical proposals and submitting the proposal package to clients.

Before joining Banneker, Ameenah served as General Counsel and Project Manager at Capitol Services Management, Inc., where she offered legal counsel on real estate development, construction, and contracts, and assisted in public engagement activities. Previously, she was a Senior Assistant District Attorney in the Special Investigations Unit at the Rockland CountyDistrict Attorney’s Office, focusing on organized crimes, white-collar crimes, and crimes against revenue. Her early career includes roles as a Trial Attorney at Allstate Insurance Company and an Assistant District Attorney in the Investigations Division at the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office.
