USAID GALLEY RENOVATIONS AT THE RONALD REAGAN BUILDING

1300 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE NW, WASHINGTON, DC

Banneker served as prime general contractor for the modernization of seven floors of galleys for the United States Agency for International Development. The work includes demolishing existing millwork, plumbing fixtures, furniture, telephone electric and data boxes, ceiling grid and tiles, flooring and wall covering, and construction of new millwork, energy efficient lighting, water efficient plumbing fixtures, new ceiling grid and tile, HVAC duct and diffusers and controls, sprinklers and sustainable materials and furniture and repair of raised flooring. Work was conducted in high security areas and all staff were required to obtain security clearances.
