Banneker Ventures Completes Historic Window Restoration Project at U.S. Department of State’s Navy Hill Complex in downtown Washington, DC

Banneker Ventures announced today that it has completed the historic window and exterior restoration of the U.S. Department of State’s Navy Hill Central Building.

This project was awarded to Banneker by the U.S. General Services Administration and involved a year-long design and construction process that involved working with GSA’s historic preservation officer for the Region and the restoration of 165 windows, trim, moldings, stools and aprons, masonry point-up, cleaning and re-painting the exterior and interior of this historic building.   This $1,000,000 contract was completed while this highly secure facility was fully occupied.
