Banneker Ventures Awarded Major Waterproofing Projects at U.S. Federal Courthouses and Other Federal Facilities

Banneker Ventures announced today that it has been awarded four major waterproofing projects by the U.S. General Services Administration for federal facilities in the National Capital Region.

The projects include the replacement of a 18,000 square feet roof and other waterproofing repairs at the A.V. Bryan Federal Courthouse (Eastern District Court of Virginia) in Alexandria, Virginia; waterproofing a 33,000 square feet deck at the William Bryant Annex Federal Courthouse garage in Washington, DC; waterproofing a 55,000 square feet deck of the North Garage at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s consolidated Headquarters campus in White Oak, Maryland; and waterproofing more than a dozen doors at the Mary E. Switzer Memorial federal building in downtown, Washington, DC.   This $1,750,000 contract represents a significant investment by GSA in the National Capital Region to ensure that its facilities exceed its customers standards.
