Banneker Ventures is seeking highly motivated personnel to fill the following positions: CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDANT: Responsible for supervising construction projects onsite and ensuring that the quality of work and materials is upheld and the budget is followed as planned. Primary duties include being onsite to oversee all the construction process; ensuring that both the health and safety project plans are implemented; ensuring that the budget is followed; organizing sub-contractors and ensuring that they are performing as required; recording the total costs for materials bought and payments for work done; general inspection of sub-contractors; serve as liaison with inspectors; and maintaining daily progress records. SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER: Responsible for managing all aspects of a project, and ensuring that a project is completed on time and within budget. Primary duties include coordinating and communicating with anyone and everyone who is involved with the project, including project managers and superintendants; regularly studying the budget and costing of the project to ensure that costs are kept under control; ensuring that risks and problems are identified before they occur and take steps to prevent them; and briefing senior management on the status of the project. PROJECT MANAGER: Responsible for the project construction plan, deciding on the methodologies to develop the project plan, and ensuring that the construction process is managed efficiently without budget cost overruns and stipulated time slippages. Primary duties include creating and executing project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements; identifying resources needed and assigning individual responsibilities; managing day-to-day operational aspects of a project; reviewing deliverables prepared by the project team; ensure quality assurance procedures are being followed; ensuring that company's exposure and risk on project are minimized; and ensuring that project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately.
